Our Team at Melbourne Dentistry

Dr. Maria Petricevic BDSc (Melb), Dentist

Dr. Maria Petricevic is a general dentist and the practice principal of our team at Melbourne Dentistry. She grew up in the coastal country town of Geelong and commuted to and from the University of Melbourne on the V-Line trains throughout dental school. Graduating in 1994, Dr. Maria has now been practicing for just over 23 years. She has worked hard to provide high quality dental care for all her patients ever since graduation.

Dr. Maria has practiced in country Victoria - Warrnambool, Bacchus Marsh and Geelong for close to 10 years, gaining a wide range of experiences before moving to the city she loves, Melbourne, in 2003, to commence practice at her current location. After working in the CBD for two years, she was able to purchase, establish and grow her own dental practice within Kurrajong House, now called Melbourne Dentistry.

Dr Maria loves dentistry. Even after 23 years! She enjoys the artistry of modern dentistry and is passionate about staying current with her knowledge. She is a member of the Australian Dental Association and an active participant in dental study groups and societies (ASP, ANZSPD, ASE, IADT, ITI and ABD).

Dr Maria is very particular and strives to offer her patients the very best in comprehensive dental care – from trusted preventive advice to long lasting treatment results. She is kind, friendly and (tries to be) funny. She enjoys chatting to patients and providing a happy, comfortable and supportive professional environment with her positive and hard working team.

Aihmy, Stacey, Amy, Sharon, Barbara and Pauline

Aihmy Long, Barbara Forbes and Pauline Hines are our highly valued, caring and trusted long term staff members who are ready to listen and help you with any queries or concerns. All are qualified dental nurses/administrative staff and highly valued members of the Melbourne Dentistry team.

After the departure of our much loved Welsh dental assistant Elena Thomas in Nov 2019 (returning back to Wales), we are pleased to welcome Amy Foster and Sharon Bellamy as our new trainee dental assistants.

Both Amy and Sharon are friendly, kind and enthusiastic young women, eager to learn and help make your visits with us as comfortable as possible. Additionally, we welcome Stacey Crilly, a senior dental assistant who has joined the practice to help Aihmy train our new recruits. Stacey is a highly experienced dental assistant, and a compassionate and generous person who shines when helping others.

Our staff have a collective employment experience of more than 50 years at this surgery. Our team will look forward to greeting you at your next dental visit.
